Former President Barack Obama has unveiled his eagerly awaited annual playlist, showcasing his favorite songs of 2024. The list features a vibrant mix of genres and artists, reflecting Obama’s diverse musical preferences.
This year’s playlist includes standout tracks such as Asake’s “Active,” Rema’s “Yayo,” Billie Eilish’s “Lunch,” Kendrick Lamar’s “Squabble Up,” and Beyoncé’s “Texas Hold ‘Em.” Rising talents also made the cut, with Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” and Jordan Adetunji’s “Kehlani”2 earning spots on the list.
Highlighting global artistry, Obama included international hits like Karol G’s “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” and “Gata Only” by FloyyMenor and Cris MJ. The selection spans hip-hop, R&B, jazz, and reggaeton, showcasing his appreciation for a variety of musical styles.
