President Mnangagwa Vehicle Commissioning Sparks Backlash Over Government Priorities

News about President Mnangagwa commissioning vehicles to the Zimbabwe Defence Forces has sparked criticism on social media. Netizens expressed concerns about the government’s priorities, with many accusing it of spending money on vehicles instead of investing in the country’s ailing health system.

Here are some of the reactions from social media;

@blessmak;

You have wrong priorities

@muntususu063328;

You are wrong these are personal benefits wait and see masoja anofamba arimu open trucks why not buying buses for them.

@farrybee7;

How about ambulances?
Cancer machines?
Medication in hospital

Why prioritizing leisure at the expense of life

@ChihwaMAS;

When will hospitals get attention?

@MbizoStanf5332;

This is wasteful expenditure. Memers of the defense forces only need tanks, amoured personal carriers, guns, fighter jets etc. That is equipment that make them execute their work very well.

@MoyoChihota;

All he does now is commission cars and handover USD cash then begs for drought aid from the EU and USA and we wonder why nobody takes Africa seriously.
