2024 promises to be a season like no other, with an exciting lineup of concerts, comedy shows, and stage performances that are set to light up the country. From the high-energy beats of Afrobeat to the soulful sounds of gospel and jazz, this year’s festive calendar has something for everyone.

Here’s a sneak peek at the top concerts and shows you won’t want to miss this season:

Flytime Fest 2024

Flytime Fest, established in 2004, has become an annual hallmark of premium African entertainment. Known for hosting over 300 African artists, Flytime has bridged the gap between local and international entertainment. 

The 2024 edition, marking its 20th anniversary, will commence on December 22 at the Eko Convention Centre. The event will feature an all-star lineup over four days, starting with Coca-Cola Rhythm Unplugged. Featured artists include Olamide, Davido, and Ayra Starr, who will perform her first-ever headline concert in Nigeria on Christmas Day.

Rema: Live in Concert

On December 15, 2024, Rema, the energetic Nigerian singer and rapper, will perform at Eagles Square in Abuja, followed by another electrifying concert at Eko Atlantic in Lagos on December 22. Fans can expect a night filled with his hit songs and dynamic stage presence.

The ZTTW Concert

Zlatan’s ‘Zanku To The World Experience’ will be a thrilling concert on December 19, 2024, at Queens Park, Lagos. Known for his vibrant dance moves and catchy beats, Zlatan is set to light up the stage with his signature rap hits.

Afro Jazz Fest 2024

Jazz enthusiasts won’t want to miss Afro Jazz Fest on December 15, 2024, at Bature Brewery, Victoria Island, Lagos. The event will offer a blend of live jazz music, culture, food, and drinks, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

Cavemen Live in Lagos

On December 27, 2024, highlife band Cavemen will bring their unique style to Muri Okunola Park in Lagos, offering a night of rich Nigerian sounds and performances from the award-winning duo, Kingsley Okorie and Benjamin James.

Shallipopi Live in Lagos

Shallipopi, the “Elon Musk” hitmaker, will electrify the stage with his rap performance. His show will be a must-see for fans of his club anthems that have dominated the airwaves throughout the year.

Osanle Fest

For fans of street music, Osanle Fest on December 20 at the Water Corporation Drive, Oniru, Lagos will bring a night of high-energy performances. Full artist lineups are yet to be disclosed, but it promises a great night of danceable tunes.
