It’s Monday, so you know what that means, Monday Night Football. This week’s game shows off the Cincinnati Bengals vs the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys get the night off with the scoring as Cooper Rush hits CeeDee Lamb with an 11-yard touchdown pass to take an early 7-0 lead. The Bengals fought back quickly though as Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase connect on a 5-yard touchdown to tie the game going into the second quarter. After a Cowboys field goal, the Bengals score another touchdown taking a 14-10 lead with 3 minutes left in the first half. Each team made big plays in the first half, but the Bengals made more plays and lead the game 17-10 at the end of the first half.
The Cowboys come out of the second half blazing, as they go down the field quickly to score a touchdown to tie the game at 17. This was the only score of the third quarter, but as the fourth quarter began each team kicked a field goal to tie the game at 20. The score stayed at 20 for a majority of the fourth quarter until a botched blocked punt gave the Bengals great field position with 2 minutes left. The Bengals took advantage of the miscue and good field position by scoring the game winning touchdown to win the game 27-20.
