It’s Monday so you know what that means, Monday Night Football. This week’s matchup is an AFC showdown between the Cleveland Browns and the Denver Broncos. The Broncos get the night started with the first touchdown, as Javonte Williams scores a rushing touchdown to give the Broncos an early 7-0 lead. The Browns strike back quickly though, as Jamies Winston hits David Njoku for an 8-yard touchdown reception to tie the game 7-7 at the end the first quarter. The second quarter was hectic, really because we got vintage Jameis Winston, as he throws a 71-yard pick six to really break the game open and give the Broncos a 21-10 lead. However, on the very next drive Jameis bounces back as he leads the Browns down the field and find David Njoku for his second touchdown of the half, making the score at halftime, Broncos 21, Browns 17.
The Broncos start the second half off with a bang, as Bo Nix throws a 93-yard touchdown pass to Marvin Mims Jr. to expand their lead. The big plays didn’t stop in the second quarter, right after the 93- yard Marvin Mims touchdown, Jerry Judy burns the Broncos defense for a 70-yard touchdown and a 2-point conversion to make it a 25-28 ball game. The Browns score a touchdown again after a Broncos field goal to take a 32-31 lead with 9 minutes to go in the fourth. This game was close, and with 2 minutes left in the fourth quarter, it’s a 2-point game and the Browns are having a promising drive to possibly win the game and upset the Broncos. However, Jameis Winston throws his second pick-six of the game, and basically ends the Browns hopes and they fall to the Broncos 41-32.
