Logitech AI Prompt Builder allows users to create ‘custom-made prompt recipes’ with ChatGPT

Computer software manufacturer Logitech (NASDAQ: LOGI) has announced its foray into the artificial intelligence (AI) ecosystem with a prompt builder for OpenAI’s ChatGPT designed to provide a seamless experience for chatbot users.

Logitech’s Logi AI Prompt Builder will allow users to create and save their custom ChatGPT prompts with a click of a button. While ChatGPT allows users to create their custom
prompts, Logitech’s offering goes on to provide users with a “one-click option” via an integration with its hardware.

The solution will allow users to tailor OpenAI’s ChatGPT to generate the intended output rather than receive generic responses.

“Mastering prompt building enhances your efficiency and creativity,” read Logitech’s post. “That’s why we developed the Logi AI Prompt Builder, a time and click-saving solution. Rephrase, summarize, and create custom-made prompt recipes with ChatGPT faster, with virtually no disruption to your workflow.”

Rather than focusing on the software side of things, Logitech confirmed that a Logi AI Prompt Builder button will be available on a limited edition mouse. Clicking on the teal-colored button of Logitech’s M750 mouse, users can access ‘instant, in-context” access to ChatGPT with prices starting at $49.99.

It is important to note that Logitech users do not have to own the custom mouse to access the prompt builder as only a Logitech device will suffice. Users can access the offering using a Logitech keyboard since the prompt builder appears to be bundled into the Logi Options Plus software.

Currently, Logitech’s prompt builder only supports ChatGPT with the company hinting at extending partnerships with other generative AI models. Only the English language appears to be supported at the moment but there are concrete plans to expand support to other languages in the coming months.

“Logitech does not access or store the data you input with your ChatGPT queries,” read the announcement. “Logitech does not share any personal data or other data with OpenAI, nor does OpenAI share any personal data or other data with Logitech.”

The race for an AI PC

Given AI’s soaring popularity since 2022, several entities are throwing their hat in the ring to scramble for AI computers. Microsoft (NASDAQ: MSFT) fired off the first storm with an
announcement hinting toward the launch of AI PCs, going on to introduce a Copilot key in its first keyboard update in 30 years.

Chip manufacturers are looking at AI chips for PCs and desktops with AMD (NASDAQ: AMD), Nvidia (NASDAQ: NVDA), and Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) racing for the lead position.

“We are seeing AI PCs becoming a bigger factor, and we have a good lead in AI PCs with the recent announcements,” said AMD CEO Victor Peng in February. “I think we’re extremely well positioned, both in AI and in other traditional businesses.”

In order for artificial intelligence (AI) to work right within the law and thrive in the face of growing challenges, it needs to integrate an enterprise blockchain system that ensures data input quality and ownership—allowing it to keep data safe while also guaranteeing the immutability of data. Check out CoinGeek’s coverage on this emerging tech to learn more why Enterprise blockchain will be the backbone of AI.
