Happy birthday, Prince Louis!
Today, the Prince and Princess of Wales shared two new adorable portraits of Prince Louis taken by Millie Pilkington in honor of his fifth birthday on April 23. In the photographs, the Princess pushes her youngest child on a wheelbarrow as he flashes a toothy grin at her and the camera. He wears a blue Fair Isle sweater.
“Someone’s turning five tomorrow,” Kensington Palace wrote on social media. “A very happy birthday to Prince Louis.”
It’s just the latest glimpse the public has gotten of the young prince. Earlier this week, the royal family also shared a picture of the late Queen Elizabeth surrounded by some of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, including Louis, on what would have been her 97th birthday. In addition, for Mother’s Day in the United Kingdom on March 19, the Wales family shared a picture of the Princess sitting in a tree alongside her three children.

It’s sure to be a celebratory few weeks in the Wales household. Following Louis’s birthday on Sunday, Princess Charlotte will turn seven on May 2. Then, on May 6, the whole family will be participating in King Charles’s landmark coronation at Westminster Abbey. Looks like this is just the first in many more royal moments to come.
