Anker has unveiled the EverFrost powered cooler, which will shortly crowdfund on Kickstarter. The gadget can cool food and drinks on the go, cooling from 77°F (~25°C) to 32°F (~0°C) in 30 minutes. Plus, a detachable 299 Wh battery provides up to 42 hours of cooling or can recharge other devices.

The Anker EverFrost powered cooler has been revealed. The cooler can chill your food and drink from 77°F (~25°C) to 32°F (~0°C) in half an hour thanks to a particularly efficient cooling system. The company claims it is the longest-lasting outdoor cooler, running for up to 42 hours at 39°F (~4°C) on a single charge via a 299 Wh removable battery.

To extend the EverFrost’s life on the go, you can swap out the battery or recharge the power pack using a 100 W solar panel input; a full recharge takes around 3.6 hours. You can also recharge via a 60 W USB-C output, wall outlet or car socket. Plus, you can use the detachable battery to charge devices like smartphones or laptops. You can control the temperature and view the remaining battery level in the Anker app.

It appears that the device will be available in three sizes with 33L, 43L and 53L capacities, the largest of which can hold 62 330 ml cans. A pull handle and wheel make the cooler easier to transport, and the handle can also be used as a mini table. The Anker EverFrost powered cooler will begin crowdfunding on March 23 at Kickstarter, where Super Early Bird pledges will receive a 45% discount on the MSRP; it is unclear precisely how much the products will cost.
