
Samsung has unveiled the Sound Tower MX-ST45B, which is now available in Brazil. The portable speaker is designed for outdoor use, with waterproof components and dual-sided output for an increased audio range. The device lasts up to twelve hours on a single charge and has built-in LED lights.
The Samsung Sound Tower MX-ST45B has been launched in Brazil. The portable speaker has up to 160 W RMS with output on two sides of the device. Built-in LED lights can sync with your music, providing dynamic colorful lighting; you can control the lighting in the accompanying app. You can also use the in-app DJ Effect tool to enhance the sound coming from the two-channel speaker based on the genre of music playing.
A Bluetooth multiconnection feature allows two smartphones to be connected to the MX-ST45B simultaneously, allowing both people to control the music. You can also wirelessly connect a supported smart TV or up to ten compatible Samsung speakers for a greater audio experience. You can connect other gadgets using ports like USB and 3.5 mm audio, and an integrated battery allows up to 12 hours of playback on a single charge.
The portable speaker measures 281 x 562 x 256 mm (~11.1 x 22.1 x 10.1-in) and weighs around 8 kg (~17.6 lbs). The gadget is rated as IPX5 water resistant, making it suitable for outdoor use. You can now buy the Samsung Sound Tower MX-ST45B in Brazil for 2,999 BRL (~US$575). Customers who purchase the device before March 15th will receive a free six-month subscription to Spotify. The company has not announced when the device will be available in other markets or how much it will cost.
