Brendan Allen came into the fight with a three-fight win streak. The Brazilian on the other hand had a 9-fight win streak. Muniz had a 3-inch advantage as he was the favorite to win the fight. However, that was not the case as Allen utilized his game plan and did not give his counterpart any chance in the bout.

Fans and UFC fighters react to Brendan Allen submitting Andre Muniz at UFC Vegas 70

Round one started with both fighters not looking for an early takedown. Allen looked confident standing up at the start of the round. Muniz also failed to takedown Allen in the middle of the round. Both fighters had their moments in a close hard fought round.

The second round started just like the first round as both fighters showcased their striking prowess. The first takedown happened in the middle of the round by the Brazilian. However, Allen reversed the grappling exchange and ended up on top for the rest of the fight.

The third and final round started with both fighters looking conservative in their takedown approach at the start of the round. However, Allen took the Brazilian down in the round and got into a good position on the ground. Furthermore, Allen secured a win with 30 seconds left with a Rare Naked Choke.

The fans and the fighters had some of the best reactions on the internet.
