Paris Hilton Reveals the Unique Name of Her Baby Boy and Details the Powerful Story Behind It

Heiress Paris Hilton has recently shared the first glimpses of her baby boy with the public and has also revealed his name, detailing how she came up with it in a brief podcast episode. This revelation marks a significant milestone for Hilton and her husband, who have kept the details of their private life out of the public eye until now.

During the podcast, the new mom expressed her excitement about the recent addition to her family and how meaningful this moment is for both her and her husband, who is already a father to a daughter from his previous relationship with reality TV personality Laura Bellizzi.

She began by sharing her enthusiasm for her baby boy, calling him a “precious angel” and expressing her love for him. Hilton went on to say that she and her husband are looking forward to starting their family and can’t wait for their fans to meet their new addition. She then announced the baby boy’s full name — Phoenix Barron Hilton Reum.

The reality TV star also revealed that they’ve been keeping things very private since the birth of their child. In fact, she didn’t even tell her mother, sisters, or best friend until their son was over a week old. She explained that it was nice to have that time with her husband and keep things between just the 2 of them.

Having lived most of her life in the public eye, Hilton expressed her appreciation for this private moment and the opportunity to have something that was just hers.

The hotel heiress explained that she thought of the name a decade ago, revealing the story while reading an excerpt from her upcoming memoir, Paris. “We plan to name him Phoenix, a name that I decided on years ago when I was searching cities… looking for something to go with Paris and London,” she said.

“It’s the bird that flames out and then rises from the ashes to fly again,” she went on adding. “I want my son to grow up knowing that disaster and triumph go around and come around throughout our lives. And that this should give us great hope for the future,” stated the proud mom.

On the other hand, the baby’s middle name happens to be a tribute to her late grandfather, Barron Hilton, as she also detailed in her podcast. “I looked up to my grandfather so much… and I miss him every day. So, I really wanted to honor him by having his name in my first son’s name.”

Hilton revealed the joyful news earlier this year, sharing her excitement for the next chapters of her new life. “It’s always been my dream to be a mother, and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other,” she said at the time, insisting on keeping things private and simply sharing a close-up photo of the baby gripping her thumb on her Instagram account.

Right after Hilton’s name reveal podcast, renowned television host Ellen DeGeneres revealed that she had correctly identified the name of Hilton’s baby over a year ago when she appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Nevertheless, Paris didn’t let on and giggled at what turned out to be the correct name.

DeGeneres went on to post a throwback video proving that she guessed correctly. On the show, Paris refused to give away the name as she was scared someone would ’steal’ it. She has also added that no one she knows has the moniker.
