5ire Launches Testnet: Thunder (Beta) for its Groundbreaking Blockchain Project

[PRESS RELEASE – Please Read Disclaimer]

New Delhi, February 13, 2023: 5ire is one of the world’s fastest-growing unicorns with a mission to make blockchains sustainable and accessible for over one billion people by 2030. 5ireChain is an EVM-compatible sustainability-oriented smart contract platform that focuses on developing a sustainable and for-benefit ecosystem based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs). 5ire’s Testnet: Thunder (Beta) went live on February 13, 2023.

The Testnet is now available for public use. Within the first 36 hours, 5ireChain saw 160K+ transactions on the 5ire native chain and 140K+ transactions on the EVM chain. 31K+ wallets have been created. The early response and feedback from the developer community has been positive. This is prompting some of the leading builders and developers to port to and build on 5ireChain. Their BuildToEarn campaign and support system could be a great incentive for builders.

About the Testnet

The ultimate objective of the 5ire Testnet Beta is to gather user feedback in order to improve the 5ireChain Ecosystem.

5ire’s Testnet is built with a unique consensus protocol, Sustainable Proof of Stake (SPoS), which ensures that ESG compliance rewards the nodes for being there for the benefit of society as a whole. This ensures that the platform remains secure, decentralized, and environment-friendly simultaneously.

One of the most exciting aspects of Testnet: Thunder (Beta) is its full compatibility with Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM). This means developers can build decentralized applications (dApps) and bring existing Ethereum-based dApps to 5ire, opening up a world of new possibilities for creating innovative solutions on the 5ire network.

But that’s not all – 5ireChain is also committed to leading the way in blockchain sustainability. The platform is designed to operate efficiently and reduce energy consumption, making it a much more environmentally friendly option compared to other blockchain projects. Testnet: Thunder (Beta) is a significant step in achieving this goal, and 5ireChain’s focus on sustainability is a big moment for the entire 5ire ecosystem.

Adding to this, Prateek Dwivedi, Co-founder and CPO 5ire, mentioned “This is just the beginning of something much bigger. In the next few days or weeks, we hope to see some of the most ambitious developers and builders building on 5ireChain. We can’t wait to see things break and get feedback that will help us put forth the best version of the Mainnet forward.”

5ire is set to embark on an ambitious journey this year, including the integration with Polkadot, leading up to its Mainnet launch in Q3 of 2023.

Furthermore, the 5ire team is expected to share more details on the BuildToEarn Campaign. They will regularly host community events and AMAs, and actively engage with the ecosystem.
