The Rapper Breaks His Silence Since Reportedly Being Injured In Last Month’s Shooting

The New Orleans rapper has been recovering since sustaining gunshot injuries during the Miami Gardens shooting, as reported by Fox 8 News. And he has now stepped into The Shade Room to share an exclusive video message with his fans.

More About Rob49’s New Music Video “4God II”

The rapper also called on his fans to stream the music video for his newest single “4GOD II” premiering exclusively on The Shade Room — Check it out above!

Rob49’s latest single “4God II” is released alongside Rebel Music/Geffen Records. As the rapper’s first single release of the year, it serves as a “reminder of his knack for anthemic bangers.” And is also a taste of what fans can expect from his upcoming EP.

Rob49’s new single “echoes the spirit” of the projects he grew up in between New Orleans’ 4th and 9th Wards. And the rapper’s bravado on the song evokes “the spirit of a survivor and the soul of someone who will hunt before he’s hunted.” The single further exemplifies the rapper’s “penchant” ability for “spirited songwriting.” And follows behind the G Herboassisted “Add It Up,” which currently sits at over 1.8 million views on YouTube. As well as his upbeat single “Product of the Trenches,” currently sitting at over 700,000 views.

The new music video and single arrive as Rob49 continues to solidify his space in the rap game. The 23-year-old recently toured alongside Nardo Wick. And performed in the halftime show at a New Orleans Pelicans game. He has also been embraced by heavyweights in the industry, such as Birdman and Lil Baby. And has been featured in collaborations with Icewear Vezzo, Babyface Ray, Doe Boy, Landstrip Chip, and more.

It’s safe to say the rapper is just getting started.
