Plugable 8-in-1 USB-C Docking Station for iPad with Stand now available

Plugable has launched the 8-in-1 USB-C Docking Station for iPad with Stand in the US, UK and Canada. The device lets you connect a tablet or smartphone to a larger display via HDMI. Other ports include 100 W USB-C with pass-through charging and 5 Gbps USB-A ports.

The Plugable 8-in-1 USB-C Docking Station for iPad with Stand has arrived. The gadget enables you to connect your tablet or smartphone to a larger display, such as a laptop or monitor, thanks to a 4K @ 30 Hz capable HDMI port. It is worth noting that the device is only compatible with screens with 1600 x 900, 1920 x 1080 and 2560 x 1440 resolutions.

Other ports on the Plugable dock include a 100 W USB-C port, supporting pass-through charging and two USB 3.0 5 Gbps ports. The station also has a 3.5 mm audio jack and SD and MicroSD slots. A second USB-C port is used to connect to the host device. The Plugable gadget is compatible with Windows 10+, iPad M1+ with iPadOS 16+, and other USB-C phones and tablets with DisplayLink Alt Mode, like the Samsung Galaxy S22.

You can rest your tablet on the 250° vertically adjustable stand with an anti-slip base to help it stay put when you touch the screen. The dock measures 9.13 x 6.02 x 2.01-in (~232 x 153 x 51 mm) and comes with a 20-in (~51 cm) USB-C to USB-C cable. You can now buy the Plugable 8-in-1 USB C Docking Station for iPad with Stand in the US for US$69. The gadget is also available in the UK for £71.23 and in Canada for CA$92.
